Chickens Can Dream 1.5 is now on the Marketplace

Hi everyone,

Great news today! Chickens Can Dream v1.5 has passed certification and can now be downloaded from the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace.

What’s New?

  • Two new power-ups:
    • Slow Down
    • Lantern
  • One new Obstacle: Jump Pad
  • Eight new Facts
    • Chicken is Unlucky
    • Chicken Fancies the Grim Reaper
    • Chicken Can Use the Magnetic Force
    • Chicken is an Expert in Magnetism
    • Chicken Knows How Magnets Work
    • Can’t Start a Fire Without a Spark
    • Veteran Chicken Ignores Collectibles
    • Chicken Is Not Afraid of the Dark
  • Added intro movie
  • New Input Method: In Options, you can now switch the input to the new touch-based method. This is experimental and we’d love your feedback on it.
  • As always, more bug fixes and optimizations

Some stats

Because we know everyone loves statistics, here are some statistics we gathered from the game so far:

  • Over 80.000 players have played the game so far
  • Over 1.614.353 chickens were ‘studied’ over the world
  • On average, each player studied 28.2 chickens
  • There is one player that tested a total of 2098 chickens
  • The longest play session was 2 hours and 36 minutes
  • The obstacles that were the most deadly are:
    • Barrier – 539394 deaths
    • Fan – 444941 deaths
    • Saw-on-a-rail – 206539 deaths
  • We received over 1500 private messages from you, out of which more than 60% were NOT random text.

    Sorry, we had to temporarily hide it from the marketplace. If you downloaded it before, you should be able to re-download it by looking at your purchase history.
    Other people said they were still able to get to the app by using AppFlow.
    We’ll let you know when the game is back online, and also when we have more news about CCF
